Dr. Michele Zebrowitz, D.C.
As a teenager and young musician, Michele suffered from severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. She tried physical therapy, but it wasn’t until her mother took her to the chiropractor that she began to heal. Michele learned that chiropractic wasn’t just for back pain, neck pain, or headaches—it could help heal many things, including carpal tunnel and allergies. Michele went on to receive a Bachelor degree in Music Education at Florida State University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Memphis. She performed in classical, blues, and rock settings with big names like Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton-John, and the Pointer Sisters, and taught music lessons and classes to people of all ages. However, she felt there was a more important calling in her life and decided to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Michele graduated Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, GA as a Doctor of Chiropractic. As a recent transplant from Atlanta, she is a board certified Chiropractor and licensed to practice in both Georgia and Colorado. Dr. Michele is very excited to offer a variety of chiropractic adjustive techniques to specifically help you reach your health and wellness goals. She has taken seminars in Sports Chiropractic treatment, NET (Neuro-Emotional Technique), KST (Koren Specific Technique), the Emotion Code, as well as many others, and continues to take more than the required post-graduate Continuing Education requirements.
Dr. Michele is an avid cyclist and enjoys the Colorado lifestyle. She races mountain and cyclocross and is proud to call Durango her home.
